Old99Farm Market:  Geopolitics explained like it should be

The Old99 Locallygrown list is the largest list of contacts I have at my fingertips.
You will likely say fine, but keep it to vegetables or at least food.

I insist that the following links need to be read and listened to by all who care about the future.
First
Jeffrey Sachs, Harvard professor, international diplomat, economist with probably the smartest and most accurate assessment of the Ukraine war, and American foreign policy more broadly, ever caught on tape.

(20:17) Why did America push for Ukraine to Join NATO?
(58:34) What is a Neocon?
(1:25:28) Regime Change Never Works
(1:36:27) Who Blew up the Nord Stream Pipeline?
(2:01:45) COVID Origins

Second,
Art Berman, career oil/gas analyst and energy policy expert is interviewed on PlanetCritical examines the piece that Sachs and Carlson leave out: War to control Energy Supply.
Whoever controls the energy supply controls the new world order.
Russia and China are deepening their relationship, Western allies in the Middle East are joining the fossil-fuelled BRICS alliance spanning the globe, and the Wagner group is loosening Europe’s grip of Africa. The tectonic plates of geopolitics are shifting along new fault lines as rising powers focus on securing resources while the old Empire in the West pretends it can decouple economies and energy. The world is at war, but only one side is being honest about what for.

Champaign, OH:  Monday Evening Checklist

Hello!! How are you, and how was your weekend? And, just to remind you that it’s a Monday, that does feel like a Sunday, but tomorrow is Tuesday, and that means you need to think about ordering, and the Tuesday 8am cut off for weekly ordering!!

Also, a few notes…

JC Growers added their seasonal, and amazing garlic scapes!!! Just like all of the seasonal produce, it only lasts a short time!!! And, well, garlic scapes are something of a culinary treat!!

Also, don’t miss out on their radishes!! I have some of their white icicle radishes roasting in the oven with some of Oakview’s pork chops, simmering in a ginger Dijon glaze!!

AND…this is the LAST week for the asparagus season!!! Make sure you order before it’s gone!!!

I hope you have had a happy and healthy holiday, and I will see you at Thursday’s pick up!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
